Henning Schwarzkopf, M.C.L. – a German and French lawyer with an international orientation
Henning Schwarzkopf, the founder, embodies the spirit, tradition and international focus of the firm. He is admitted at both the Hanseatic Bar Association of Hamburg and the Barreau de Grasse (France). This makes him one of the few German lawyers in the South of Frances admitted in both countries.
After the law exam in Hamburg, intern work in San Francisco and New York, among other places, he studied at the University of Miami after the advanced law exam and graduated with a Master of Comparative Law (focus: inter-national business and maritime trade law). Several years as a representative of a German law firm in the USA followed, until he returned to Hamburg via a position as in-house counsel for a trust company in Monaco. 15 years ago he began his additional focus towards China and Hong Kong to provide legal support to clients with business activities there. After successfully building up a solid network he added Singapore to advise his European clients there, as well.
Last, but not least
As a specialist in maritime law and an experienced ocean yachtsman, Henning Schwarzkopf is one of the pioneers of “yachting” in China and a founding member of the APSA – Asia Pacific Superyacht Association based in Hong Kong.
